The Consumer Electronics Show is getting bigger, and every year, thousands of technology companies around the world meet this important event in Las Vegas. This time, not only were the technology greats present, but more than 3000 startups took the opportunity to be part of this fair and receive approximately 170 thousand spectators.

In today’s article we will give you the Top 5 of the trends presented at CES 2018:

  1. During the Pre-Show, Samsung presented a 146¨ modular system television with 4k resolution which is called “The Wall” because it can extend the images to a large size, generating the sensation that a large format painting came to life.
  2. LG, created an Artificial Intelligence platform for its products. ThinQ, will allow products to be interconnected and can “learn” from their owners and integrate with the systems of other developers, such as Google or Amazon. Apparently this novelty, will allow to handle all the artifacts from a single device, eliminate the remote control of the TV and many other advances.
  3. In #3, we have the e-Pallete concept presented by Toyota during the CES 2018 Pre-Show. It is the design of a fully autonomous electric car that will allow the transport of cargo passengers. Toyota will work with companies such as Uber and DiDi; an alliance to be part of the mobility service platform trends.
  4. A suitcase with a life of its own. The Chinese company ForwardX Robotics, created a robotic suitcase that drives itself. The CX-1 uses face recognition technology and sensors to track its owner, avoids obstacles thanks to its four-wheel drive and a large 170-degree angle camera, and can be programmed to follow commands from users’ hands.
  5. Finally in our Top 5, we have Blue Frog Robotics who continue with the robotics trend, presented this year to “Buddy”, a personal robot that can interact in the home, give the weather forecast, schedule an appointment and create activities for children.

These and many more are the technologies that were presented this year in the city that does not sleep during the Consumer Electronics Show, which will be massive in the future.
